The Appreciation Ceremony of "YETP Most Improved Trainees Award" 2025

The Appreciation Ceremony of "YETP Most Improved Trainees Award" 2025 organised by the Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) of the Labour Department was successfully held at Moreton Terrace Activities Centre on 9 December 2025.  It aims to recognise the 10 outstanding trainees who have achieved significant improvements in personal development, leadership or work performance after joining YETP, as well as to commend the concerted caring efforts of their service providers and employers in nurturing young people.  Merit Awards were also given to 10 other trainees to encourage them to keep pursuing their career goals and dreams.

Speech by Mr Sam HUI, Commissioner for Labour, at the Appreciation Ceremony

Mr Sam HUI, Commissioner for Labour, expressed gratitude to all working partners for their support for youth development and employment.  He said that young people are the driving force of social development.  He encouraged young people to seize the moment to take on new challenges and equip themselves to build up their career and future.
