YETP Summer Recruitment Parades (First Round)Hitachi Elevator Engineering Company (Hong Kong) Limited “Lift Technician Assistant Training Project” Recruitment Day
YETP of the Labour Department, Hitachi Elevator Engineering Company (Hong Kong) Limited and HKFTU Occupational Retraining Centre will jointly organize a tailor-made training-cum-employment project, “Lift Technician Assistant Training Project”, offering a total of 20 vacancies for the posts of “Lift Technician Assistant (Maintenance)” and “Lift Technician Assistant (Installation)”. A recruitment day with on-the-spot interviews will be held on 14 June 2022 (Tuesday). Successful applicants are required to attend a FREE pre-employment training course for 10 full days. Trainees are entitled to training allowance during the pre-employment training period. Upon completion of the training course, applicants with good performance will be engaged as employees and undergo on-the-job training with pay for a period of 12 months of employment.
Trainees are eligible for a retention allowance of $3,000 if they are engaged in full-time on-the-job training for 3 months and an additional $1,000 for completion of each subsequent month. For part-time on-the-job training, the respective amounts grantable will be halved. For details of retention allowance application, please visit the YETP website.

Hitachi Elevator Engineering Company (Hong Kong) Limited was established in 1966 for sales, installation, maintenance and modernization of Hitachi made elevators, escalators and moving sidewalks in Hong Kong. Since then, we have gradually expanded our business network in Macau in 1980. |
Basic Entry Requirements:
- Aged 15 to 24
- School leavers with education attainment at Secondary 3 to sub-degree level (or equivalent)
- Lawfully employable in Hong Kong
- Fluent in Cantonese
- Able to read and write Chinese

- Education qualification and employment record proof (if applicable) (both the original and a copy), and;
- One recent passport-sized photo

Participants of YETP, including in the course of participating in recruitment functions / workplace attachment / on-the-job training, must comply with the latest epidemic prevention measures and requirements of venue provider / organiser / employer / training body / the Government (such as wearing masks, social distancing, using "LeaveHomeSafe" or "Vaccine Pass", having body temperature checked, undergoing testing, being vaccinated, etc).

Pre-employment Training Course (Free of charge)
Successful applicants are required to attend a FREE pre-employment training course provided by HKFTU Occupational Retraining Centre. Trainees are entitled to a training allowance at a rate of $70 per valid training day during the training period.

- Trainees who have previously worked for Hitachi Elevator Engineering Company (Hong Kong) Limited under any forms of employment or services are not eligible for joining the above Training Project.
- Trainees who have attained an attendance rate of 80% or above in the pre-employment training course are entitled to a training allowance at a rate of $70 per valid training day. Eligible trainees may submit training allowance applications to their respective case manager.
- Trainees should ensure that they are available during the course and notify their case manager before applying for this course. To ensure effective use of training resources, upon your successful enrolment for the subject tailor-made training course, referrals for workplace attachment training and on-the-job training will be suspended till completion of the training course. Besides, other pre-employment training courses and workplace attachment training previously enrolled will be cancelled.

- If the Black Rainstorm Signal, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or “extreme conditions” is issued / announced to be issued within 3 hours before the start of the recruitment event, or any of the above signal/warning is still in force during the said period, the recruitment event will be cancelled.
