Objectives

The Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) of the Labour Department provides a comprehensive platform of job search for young people aged 15 to 29 with educational attainment at sub-degree level or below. This programme enables young people to better understand themselves and their work aptitudes while enriching their job skills and experience so as to enhance employability.

Career Development Services Career orientation and support
Training Courses Career Advisors will assist trainees in selecting and enrolling in the following suitable training courses:
  • Employees Retraining Board (ERB) offers diversified training courses, including full-time Placement-tied Courses, part-time Generic Skills Courses and Skills Upgrading Courses, and full-time / part-time Youth Training Courses for special service targets
  • Subject to different service needs, YETP will arrange training courses for special employment projects or specific service targets
