The e-Learning Support Scheme of YETP provides pre-employment training and job opportunities for young people who wish to pursue their career in information technology, education and multi-media industries, and at the same time, assists schools to promote e-Learning. Recruited trainees will attend a free pre-employment training course provided by the Academy of The Baptist Convention of Hong Kong and are entitled to an allowance upon completion of the training with 80% or above attendance. Upon completion of training, trainees will undergo 12-month on-the-job training with pay at schools as an e-Learning Support Officer in September 2024.

Eligibility and Job Requirement

  • School leavers aged 15-24
  • Educational attainment at DSE (NAS) / sub-degree or below
  • No related work experience required
  • Lawfully employable in Hong Kong
e-Learning Support Officer

Duties in general
  • Assist schools to prepare multimedia information and e-learning materials
  • Manage online teaching platform
  • Assist schools in setting up, operating, monitoring, managing and maintaining computer equipment and software, networks and servers, e-learning platforms, intranet and web pages of schools
  • Assist students in using e-learning tools such as tablets
  • Assist in administrative work in support of IT education
On-the-job Training Period 12 months
Expected Commencement Date of On-the-job Training September 2024

Pre-employment training course

Recruited trainees will attend a free e-Learning pre-employment training course (100 hours) provided by Academy of the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong in July/ August 2024.
