S.4;Basic Computer Operation Knowledge;General Internet Knowledge;English Typing;Able to communicate in either Eng or Chi AND be proficient(speak/read/write) in 1 of the following languages: Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Nepali, Tagalog, Thai, Urdu, Punjabi or Vietnamese |
Other Requirements |
Able to speak/read/write a 3rd language (either Chi or Eng) will be an advantage;With initiative and patience to serve the public;Understand EM culture/practices preferred;EM Languages word processing skills preferred;Permanent residents of the HKSAR |
Duties |
1.To handle customers' enquiries and introduce employment services to job seekers, in particular ethnic minorities (EMs) at Job Centres (JCs)/Recruitment Centres (RCs); 2.To assist job seekers in registration and using various facilities in JCs/RCs and Interactive Employment Service website; 3.To provide logistical support in the recruitment activities and general clerical work to the office; 4.To render on-site assistance in inclusive job fairs for EMs; 5.To assist in establishing contact and maintaining liaison with members of the EM communities to promote the employment services of the Labour Department; 6.To assist in conducting regular in-depth follow-ups with EM job seekers and employment briefings for EMs. |
