Emperor Cinemas Recruitment Day
The Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) of the Labour Department will organise “Emperor Cinemas Recruitment Day” on 30 July 2024 (Tuesday). Emperor Cinema Management Limited will provide employment opportunities to YETP trainees and interested young people by offering 20 on-the-job training vacancies of Full-time/ Part-time Cinema Service Ambassador, which do not require any related work experience. YETP trainees and interested young people may attend interview on-the-spot. Successful applicants will undergo on-the-job training with pay for a period of 6 months of employment.
 Emperor Cinema Management Limited | Starting from 2017, Emperor Cinemas has established its presence in various shopping centers across Hong Kong, including Central, Tuen Mun, Ma On Shan, Tsuen Wan, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tseung Kwan O, Causeway Bay, Tai Wai, and Wong Chuk Hang. This marked another milestone in the group"s business development. In 2021, "Emperor Cinemas" expanded to Macau by opening a new cinema at Lisboeta Macau, providing quality movie-going experiences for local film enthusiasts. In 2022, the group partnered with the "MCL Cinema" to co-establish the new brands "Emperor Cinemas Plus+" and "MCL Cinemas Plus+". Through a joint venture, they are jointly investing in and working towards developing new cinemas. |
Basic Entry Requirement:
- Aged 15 to 24
- School leavers with Secondary 3 to sub-degree level (or equivalent)
- Lawfully employable in Hong Kong
Applicants should bring along these documents:
- Hong Kong Identity Card
- Resume
- Education qualification and employment record proof (if applicable) (both the original and a copy), and;
- One recent passport-sized photo
A gift will be offered on-site to the YETP Trainees and job seekers eligible for the YETP.

Job applicants will be assigned specific timeslots for interviews to reduce waiting time. Please make reservation now as interview timeslots are limited.

- Those who have previously worked in above participating company or its related company under any forms of employment or services are not eligible for joining the recruitment day.
- If the Black Rainstorm Signal, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or “extreme conditions” is issued / announced to be issued within 3 hours before the start of the recruitment event, or any of the above signal/warning is still in force during the said period, the recruitment event will be cancelled.
- YETP will conduct photo and video shooting in the event for promotional and publicity purposes. For enquiry, please approach staff of the Labour Department on-site.
