Y.E.S. Mong Kok Centre Visit
YETP Trainees x Solar Ambassadors
Date: 1 August 2016
Venue: Y.E.S. Mong Kok Centre – level 42, Office Tower, Langham Place
In this hot summer, a group of YETP trainees and solar ambassadors visited the Youth Employment Start (Y.E.S.) of the Labour Department to learn more about different industries. With the aid of the facilities and services of this youth employment resource centre, the participants started to plan their own career paths and enriched themselves to enhance the employment opportunities.
The participants were listening carefully to the introduction of Y.E.S. about the facilities available for its members.
The participants hurried to register as Y.E.S. members so as to enjoy the facilities and services for free. Facilities like the computer zone, Vacancy Search Terminals, black and white/color printers......are all here to help equip members for job interviews. Services offered by the centre include provision of Career Assessment Kit, mock interview service, career consultation and professional counselling service, value-added trainings and so forth.
While enjoying the views outside the windows, the solar ambassadors were filling in the questionnaire to find out their own career aspiration.
This solar ambassador was conducting career assessment through analysing her characters, interests, emotions, intelligence and so on, with a view to selecting the most suitable job.
Wow! Photo taking service for free! Smile!
YETP trainees and solar ambassadors got a lot of information. After the visit, their journeys to the working world have just begun. We wish them every success in pursing their career goals!
