Do not underestimate the importance of doing warm up exercise before giving a talk or presentation. Sense your body changes, help your mind refresh and tackle any challenges ahead!
What factors may influence a speaker's presentation? The outfit/ content/ eye contact/ confidence/ preparation? What do you think?
Demonstration and interactive sharing made our trainees learn and get inspired in an effective way. Apply what you learnt, be an attractive speaker~

On Shan Exploratorium Visit
YETP Trainees x Solar Ambassadors
Date: 11 August 2016
Venue: On Shan Exploratorium
Guest: Jason Chan, Vincy Chan and Lil' Ashes
The Grace Youth Camp, a classified grade III historical buildings (On Shan Exploratorium).
The participants set off early in the morning and experienced the life of miners in the past.
The docent introduced the development of the church in Ma On Shan.
The above pictures show the Peak Lutheran School and the Sunnyside Church built in 1952 on the hilltop.
Despite heavy downpour, the group continued with their trip to the 240 M.L. mine cave.
Finally, the 240 M.L. mine cave!
The docents taught the participants to make the "hot wheel" (烽火輪), a kind of DIY toy for the village children living in poverty in the past.
"Rolling ring competition" (滾地環比賽) was the game villagers used to play.
Another group was responsible for making the distinctive mine cookies. You see......the cookies really look like rocks!
This group was experiencing the work of miners.
Our lunch sets were just the same as the ones for miners. Having steamed bun with fermented bean curd sauce tasted so special!
After the lunch, the participants started to weed and plant the flowers. Some also went to the country park to clean up BB shells, plastic bottles and other garbage.
Jason Chan, Vincy Chan and Lil' Ashes, shared their experiences in conserving the natural environment and played games with the participants.
Under the shining sunlight, let's take a group photo!
Conserving the natural environment requires our concerted efforts. We should try our best to protect our own planet.
