The Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) of the Labour Department and Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) held a media session on the stage drama "Seize the Second" on December 7, 2015.
The media session was officiated by the Commissioner for Labour, Mr Donald Tong. Speaking at the session, Mr Tong encouraged young people to grasp every opportunity to achieve their goals. He expressed the belief that the four encouraging stories would serve as good examples in inspiring young people to achieve their dreams. He expects that more youngsters would benefit from YETP's tailor-made services in formulating their career plans, thereby enhancing their employability.
On the event, Joey Leung (Director) introduced the drama story and cast list, as well as the message he would like to deliver through the stage drama. “Seize the Second”is an adaptation of the encouraging stories of four YETP trainees. The four youngsters attended the event to share their experiences. Performers included singer Crystal Cheung, DJs of RTHK Radio 2, YETP trainees and Solar Ambassadors of RTHK were also invited to the media session. They are fascinated to take part in this performance and look forward to the upcoming training and rehearsal. They will definitely enjoy and prepare their best for the show to be staged on January 30, 2016.
