The theme of the event this year is "Dare to Move-Achieve My Dream"! Youth have the courage to explore, innovate and undertake. This quality enabled the awardees of this year to pave the way for a bright future.
Mr. Matthew Cheung (fifth left), Secretary for Labour and Welfare, is dedicated to youth employment. Despite his tight schedule, he squeezed time to attend the ceremony. He listened to the experiences of the awardees and encouraged them to devote themselves to work so as to reach new heights of success.
Mr. Donald Tong (fifth left), Commissioner for Labour, encouraged the awardees to set their goals and strive for their dreams with perseverance and ambition.
Mr. Byron Ng (fifth left), Deputy Commissioner for Labour (Labour Administration) and Mrs. Tonia Leung (sixth left), Assistant Commissioner for Labour (Employment Services), inspired the awardees to equip themselves and embrace challenges in order to make further breakthroughs.
Mr. Matthew Cheung affirmed the outstanding performance of the awardees and the concerted efforts of the training bodies and the employers. He remarked that YETP kept introducing new services to cater for the various needs of youngsters.

Mr. Matthew Cheung presented trophies to the awardees, recognizing their improvements in personal development, leadership or job performance, and commended the caring efforts of employers and training bodies.
By virtue of the insightful and professional judgment of the adjudicators, Dr. Carol Ma (left photo) and Ms. Karen Yiu (right photo), the ten awardees were successfully selected. To express his heartfelt gratitude, Mr. Matthew Cheung presented trophy to the adjudicators.
