Summer is full of vigour and vitality. Teenage is the summer of a life. In this wonderful summer, the Labour Department co-organised with Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) the Award Ceremony of Most Improved Trainees of Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) named 'Solar Project 2014 – Dream Journey with YETP'.

Most Improved Trainees of Youth Employment and

Dream Journey with YETP".

The theme of the event this year is Dare to Move-Achieve My Dream! Youth have the courage to explore, innovate and undertake. This quality enabled the awardees of this year to pave the way for a bright future.

Mr. Matthew Cheung (fifth left), Secretary for Labour and Welfare, is dedicated to youth employment. Despite his tight schedule, he squeezed time to attend the ceremony. He listened to the experiences of the awardees and encouraged them to devote themselves to work so as to reach new heights of success.

Mr. Matthew Cheung affirmed the outstanding performance of the awardees and the concerted efforts of the training bodies and the employers. He remarked that YETP kept introducing new services to cater for the various needs of youngsters.

The ceremony was a mass of cheers even at the end! The officiating guests and performers had a group photo on the stage, signifying the successful conclusion of the ceremony.
