With the venue decorated like a runway, it symbolises that the trainees have inherited their predecessors' spirit of persistence and will head towards their dreams along the runway of YETP. Mr Matthew CHEUNG presented trophies to the 10 awardees, recognising their efforts made over the year, and commended the caring efforts of employers and training bodies.
Teenagers can hardly avoid difficulties when pursuing their dreams. But with the encouragement of their families, employers and training bodies, they are able to rise to the challenge!  The 10 awardees expressed their gratitude with lovely bouquets to those who have been supporting them. Actually, their significant improvements are already the best gifts!

BUT Sin Ting and LEUNG Kwai Chung, who were among the winners of "the Most Improved Trainees of YPTP" in 2001, came to support the YETP trainees after they had been awarded for ten years. They shared how they fulfilled their dreams with the help of the Programme. Mr Matthew CHEUNG and Mr CHEUK Wing Hing officiated at the 2011/12 Programme Kick-off Ceremony with other honourable guests. The Most Improved Trainees handed the batons to the officiating guests who then put the batons into the energy box, thus empowering the trainees and teenagers to run for their goals!
